Castrol Honda Team welcomes Jeremy Holmes
Blue Wing Honda are pleased to name the third member of the Castrol Honda Road Race Team.
Jeremy Holmes will contest the 2012 New Zealand Supersport Championship on board a Honda CBR600RR in full Castrol livery.
Jeremy is no stranger to the CBR600. He has competed in the Supersport class since 2005 with the support of Southland Honda where he works alongside his parents. Gary and Liz Holmes who own the Invercargill Honda dealership also play a big part in Jeremy’s racing, as they work as his pit crew on race weekends.
Peter Finlay, Blue Wing Honda’s race team co-ordinator said “We have been watching Jeremy for a couple of years now.
Aside from his obvious talent on the bike, Jeremy and his team always present themselves well and go about their business in a professional manner, and that’s an important part of racing. We are pleased to be able to offer them some additional support and welcome them into the Castrol Honda team”.
In response to the news Jeremy was very happy that his efforts over the last few years had not gone unnoticed. “I want to emphasize how thankful we (both me and the pit crew) are at this opportunity. It is amazing to have our hard work recognized, so thanks to all involved in the decision”.
