OFFLIMITS now proudly supported by Honda
Dave Greenslade from OFFLIMITS and Martin Wylie from Blue Wing Honda have announced a sponsorship agreement to enable OFFLIMITS to expand the number of events and activities they organize on the 63,000 hectares of land in the Army Training Area at Waiouru in the Central North Island.
This land is totally unique and covers all types of terrain, vegetation and climate conditions along with a wide variety of wild life.
It is the perfect location for fantastic riding and memorable events.
OFFLIMITS is a charitable trust set up to provide outdoor events for the NZ public at the Army Training area in Waiouru. Money raised from their events is used to fund NZ soldiers competing in multisports events.
OFFLIMITS events include the popular TUSSOCK BUSTER with some 1500 participants. (held in March) This is a 2.5 day trail ride for all levels of riding experience. This event has over 200 km of marked tracks, fantastic sheltered camping area, hot showers, opportunity to purchase cooked meals, a doctor in attendance and a helicopter to assist with any bike or medical recovery that is needed.
Other planned events include BOUNDARY BUSTER ( a two day guided ride), Training Camps using Honda MX Team riders as coaches, Quad tours, and winter rides.
Under the agreement, Honda will provide ATV’s, side by side MUV’s, MX and Trail bikes to OFFLIMITS. Honda Dealers will provide maintenance, service and repair facilities at all events.
