2012 CRF250 & 450R BIKE REVIEW
Darren Capill from Bay Honda reports back on the new 2012 R's from the NZ Veterans & Women's MX Champs in Palmerston North
I rode the new 2012 CRF250R & CRF450R at the NZ Veterans & Women MX champs on the weekend & had a blast.
I only got the bikes during the week so assembled up & headed to Palmerston North to race.
I did a few laps on a private track Friday afternoon to break them in & then into it on Saturday.
It started of a bit damp but dried to perfection.
3x races for the 250R & 3xraces for the 450R.
6x wins.
Racing was called of for Sunday due to bad weather.
1st 40-44yrs under class. (CRF250R)
1st 40-44yrs overs class . (CRF450R)
The bikes have so much power & were very easy to ride straight out of the crate!
Full with gas & race I didn’t even have to adjust the chain!
Taupo this weekend lets hope for some good weather.
