Owned and operated by Frank Fullerton and Miles Shelley, Hauraki Plains Motors is a prominent and active rural motorcycle, machinery, and general hardware supplier to the agricultural and pastoral community, based in Ngatea on the intersection of the two main roads on the western side of town. The business was established in 1926 and is iconic in the region.

Bold new signage adorns both the front and rear of the business now, ensuring farmers are very clear where they can buy their new Hondas from, or get their existing units professionally serviced.

Hauraki Plains Motors showcased a full farm range of Honda product, including ATV's and 2-wheel farm bikes at the Hauraki Plains Rural Show on Saturday 5th November.

The rural show was held at the Domain and was a fun day for the local community to get together and celebrate what the local town has to offer - fun activities for the kids, competitions, interaction with animals, and plenty of stalls and produce to check out.

Hauraki Plains motors ran a 'sign up and win a Honda CFR50 kids bike competition' which proved to be very popular with over 300 entires.

The lucky winners were Greg and Brenda Morrison, with their two children Jeadon and Sean from Waihi.

The children were absolutely stoked. In between the smiles the young Sean kept saying 'I've been dreaming about getting one of these for Christmas'.
