Santa Comes to Bisset Honda Ride Night
On Friday, the 9th December, the second session of Bisset Honda Mini’s Only Training Nights (for the 2011-12 season) was held at Tod & Teiana Hislop’s property on Makakahi Road, Pahiatua.
33 riders and their siblings and parents attended from all over the region, coming from as far away as Masterton, Palmerston North, Ashhurst and Dannevirke. The ride nights cater for the younger rider, or those on bikes up to 65cc 2-stroke, 110cc 4-stroke and quads up to 100cc.
The hillside riding track provided the kids with plenty of challenges including some jumps and a whoops section.
This year after all the kids had had a chance to get out onto the track, heads turned the other way as none other than Santa himself pulled up in a little red convertible, loaded to the hilt with HONDA goodie bags for all the kids. The kids formed a line and the pressies were handed out with everyone also receiving a handshake from Father Christmas.
There will be two more sessions of Bisset Honda Mini’s Only Training Nights in 2012 – one on the 13 January and one on the 10 February. The cost is $5.00 per rider per night and this includes a BBQ tea and refreshments for the whole family.
