HONDA TAKES OUT ADB MANUFACTURER’S CUP FOR AUS MX
The competition, sponsored by Australasian Dirt Bike Magazine, aims to pit each manufacturer’s lastest motocross weapons fair and square against each other in a pure racing environment.
After a tough nine round national series that saw Anderson as well as a host of privateers persistently take home a solid points haul, Honda was able to walk away with the top honours by the final round at Coolum, QLD for their all-new CRF450R.
Accepting the Manufacturers Cup on behalf of Honda Australia, Woodstock Honda Thor Racing Team Principal, Yarrive Konsky said, "It's been a big effort from all the privateers."
"Overall we had a strong contingent of Hondas out there with guys like Cameron Taylor, Lee Ellis, Dean Porter and Nathan Crawford, and obviously our Woodstock Honda riders Craig Anderson and Daniel McCoy.
"Honda has put a big effort into supporting the privateers and they do make up the numbers; without the privateers we wouldn't have a Championship."
"Honda is right behind this series and will continue to offer support to the privateers and factory riders alike."
